The committee, under the lead of Jean Lampach (BCE) decided for this format after intensive tests realized mainly at CBC over the last weeks.

This decision is part of RTL Group’s strategy of an HD workflow in a complete file based environment, lowering delivery and post-production costs, all with a reduced environmental carbon footprint.

This decision will not overrule any agreement between an RTL company and a distributor for another file based or tape based format, or all other “acquisition (camera)” formats in use at any RTL Group company.
