BCE (Broadcasting Center Europe) in Luxembourg is looking for trainees:

Training for a System Administrator
working in an international team:
Supervision
 
Description:
- Integration of various system devices (servers, storage, routers…) in our worldwide monitoring and alarm system.
- Development of automatic alarms via email, SMS,…
- Produce automatic reports concerning availability of equipment, incidents, break of SLA, …
- Identify the needed metrics for System Capacity Planning on each driver (Unix, Windows, Citrix) and Pilot the Software vendor to integrate them into the platform.
- Develop new supervision drivers for items like NetApp, HPSIM or Oracle into Skyline Dataminer.

During the complete training, trainee will be supported by a technical team at each stage

Prerequisites:
- Good Linux knowledge (RedHat, CentOs)
- Good Windows Server 2000/2003 knowledge
- SNMP / MIB Knowledge
- Script Knowledge
- Language: English (German or French is an advantage)

Others:
- Minimum training: 5 months.
- Training will be paid + midday lunches
- Candidate with autonomy
