Our Exclusive features
- BCE puts at your disposal a state of the art and highly automated industrial digitization plant, capable of processing up to 50.000 hours of programmes per year.
- The digitization quality is world class level and at the top of what current technology allows. Broadcast quality standards ITU-R 601 and 656 are scrupulously respected.
- Digitized media are stored in a central archive facility with a capacity of 1.2 PetaBytes. This is a capacity equivalent to approximately 120.000 hours of programmes.
- The archive facility is totally secure, from a data standpoint, thanks to total mirroring of the facility and numerous levels of redundancy. From a security standpoint, the site is a physical vault, with 24/7 staffing and high security controlled access. Your precious content will be well guarded !

A wide choice of input formats :
- Totally automated digitization processes are possible from Digital Betacam, Betacam SX/SP and IMX VTR formats.
- Semi-automated acquisition from HD Cam, DV Cam and DVCPro formats.
- Operator assisted acquisition from D1, 1"C, BVU and other specific formats.
A wide Choice of output formats :
- MPEG-2MP@ML 4:2:2 in long GOP (from 10 to 30 Mbits/sec).
- MPEG-2MP@ML 4:2:2 I-Frame – IMX format (from 30 to 50Mbits/sec) – DV.
- The bar coding processes and quality control operations are supervised by highly trained technical staff.
- For media intended for the Internet or for corporate Intranets, it is possible to transcode the media to low bit rate formats as MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, VC-1, WMV, Real Player, Quicktime, etc...
- If customers want it, we can also create interfaces to any media content database allowing near online content access.
