Your challenge:
By joining the Post-Production team, you will be responsible for video editing and quality control of file-based TV content and guarantee first line infrastructure support by:
- Performing diagnostics, troubleshooting, as well as routine and preventive maintenance of every equipment (including tape decks, routers, servers, encoders, graphics and editing systems)
- Providing technical support with respect to editing suites (including Edius, Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro software)
- Ensuring that IT-based encoders / decoders are functional and that they support business requirements
- Being part of a 24/7 television environment qualified candidates must be able to work flexible hours, weekends and holidays.
Your profile:
Required experiences and knowledge:
- Advanced technician diploma (BAC+2 / BTS) in audiovisual, multimedia or IT
- Excellent knowledge of digital audio/video standards and equipment
- Knowledge of current post-production, IT, studio and digital asset management technologies
- Knowledge of post-production environments using advanced video CODECs (MXF, MOV, MPEG-2, H.264/MPEG-4 AVC, HEVC, AV1) and complex file-based workflows
- Knowledge of transcoding systems (Telestream Vantage, Carbon Coder, Adobe Media Encoder)
- Basic knowledge of traditional broadcast equipment (analog and digital video/audio processing, frame syncs, VTR’s etc.)
- Expertise with non-linear editing systems (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, Avid, Edius)
- Familiar with workflows for SD, HD, UHD/4K SDR and HDR
- Experience with media file transfer applications (FTP, Signiant, Aspera)
- Understanding of network and cluster-based storage solutions associated with non-linear editing, as well as media asset management (MAM)
