The CEV selects BCE for the live production, transmission and streaming of the European Volleyball Cups 2021 drawing of lots

The 2021 edition of the European Cups will take off on Friday 21st August 2020 live from RTL City in Luxembourg.

To ensure the global footprint of the drawing of lots, the Confédération Européenne de Volleyball (CEV) entrusted Broadcasting Center Europe (BCE) with the live production of the event as well as live transmission and live streaming.

To ensure the best quality and a seamless experience for the viewers, the live production will take place in BCE’s grand studio, located at RTL City in Luxembourg. Among key features such as a 4 x 2.5 meters LED screen and the filming via PTZ and manned HD (High Definition) cameras, the production will be handled by BCE from its full HD outside broadcast van, directly connected over IP to the studio.

BCE will create the graphics as well to present the results of the three competitions draws: the CEV Championship Volley, the CEV Volleyball Cup and the CEV Challenge Cup, totalling about 200 teams to be drawn.

“Our multiple expertise in production, postproduction, transmissions and live streaming allows the perfect broadcast of the CEV event,” explains Xavier Thillen, Head of Production & Digital Media Operations at BCE. “Our team of experts support the CEV at every step of their project to ensure the best result.”
